So I started an A-Z project where I draw a picture that is somehow linked to the corresponding letter in the alphabet.
After this will probably be some hardcore anatomy review, becuase I so desperately need it, but for now, fun stuff.

I got amused at work with this one:
True story, I was happy. My girlfriend and I had been dating for over a year, and so we decided to get married. My parents helped us in every way, my friends encouraged me, and my girlfriend? She was a dream! There was only one thing bothering me, very much indeed, and that one thing was her younger sister. My prospective sister-in-law was twenty years of age, wore tight mini skirts and low cut blouses. She would regularly bend down when near me and I got many a pleasant view of her underwear. It had to be deliberate. She never did it when she was near anyone else. One day little sister called and asked me to come over to check the wedding invitations. She was alone when I arrived. She whispered to me that soon I was to be married, and she had feelings and desires for me that she couldn't overcome and didn't really want to overcome. She told me that she wanted to make love to me just once before I got married and committed my life to her sister. I was in total shock and couldn't say a word. She said, "I'm going upstairs to my bedroom, and if you want to go ahead with it just come up and get me." I was stunned. I was frozen in shock as I watched her go up the stairs. When she reached the top she pulled down her panties and threw them down the stairs at me. I stood there for a moment, then turned and went straight to the front door. I opened the door and stepped out of the house. I walked straight towards my car. My future father-in-law was standing outside. With tears in his eyes he hugged me and said, "We are very happy that you have passed our little test. We couldn't ask for a better man for our daughter. Welcome to the family.
"The moral of this story is:"

Its been a while since i've drawn. Since it was a new years resolution to stop playing so many games becuase I can't really show results from it, i may as well put that effort somewhere else (other than school). So heres to getting back into the spirit -

I guess now that Thanksgiving and Christmas are over, it's time to start getting rid of all this extra weight. Honestly, what man can do without a nice inguinal crease? I'll keep random track here... I guess this is one of my new year resolutions now that I think about it.

So I rarely post but...
I guess i'll take some time out of my hectic DOTA schedual to write some of my blessings:
I am thankful for my family
I am thankful for having survived this far in the eschool (even if barely)
I am thankful for my house
I am thankful for my Alamo family
I am thankful for Yuan Ho** (new addition that had to be added)
I am thankful for the f club
I am thankful for our past year, memories i'll treasure and moments i'll never forget
I am thankful being able to apply that last line to everything in my life
I am thankful for the close friendships I am making at UVA
I am thankful for OYFA and the joy they have brought me
I am thankful for having food to eat everyday, even if it may be constant EZ Mac and Ramen
I am thankful for not being sick of those foods, otherwise maybe i would starve
I am thankful for those who have stuck with me through the thick in the thin
I am thankful for the colors
I am thankful for red bull helping me think i've studied enough in those allnighters (i didnt)
I am thankful having the money to buy materialistic nothings that still make me happy
I am thankful being alive, being able to live, and living life.
I am thankful my awesome brothers
I am thankful my awesome lack of micro
I am thankful for women, its kinda sweeet they exist
I am thankful making it into computer engineering
I am thankful being able to spend time with cousins, siblings, aunts and uncles, on an awesome day
I am thankful feeling like I have someone to talk to, even if I don't
I am thankful being able to have a list this long
And most importantly
I am thankful for all my friends, close and far, and if I don't tell them straight up, I treasure every moment and want to tell you guys that i love you :)
Soo... on that kinda gay note, everyone have a wonderful thanksgiving! |

After a long conversation with someone about a somewhat related subject...
I think i finally realized why I draw. I draw becuase its something that I love to do. It's a self-movitated hobby where I can proudly say that I taught myself everything -- without the need to cling onto someone who knew what they were doing. It is something I can call my own. I draw becuase I can draw what I want (albeit manga) without ever having to know if it is right or wrong. I know i'm not nearly as good as I would like to be, but that drive and feeling deep down inside that I know I can be as amazing as some of the artists I follow is something I love. I can be amazing, and I can do it by myself; I don't need anyone's help, i just need perserverence. I can't say that about scholastics (especially as a computer engineering major at uva), atheletics, or any mundane activity. Everyone has their hobbies, everyone has "that thing" that just really makes them happy. I have art.
I dunno its really late for me and my mind is like scrambled eggs right now, i'm probably going to read this tommorrow and ask myself what I really was thinking. I know most people can't even relate, but... i don't even know anymore -- whateverrr. |
